Eden still couldn't believe how everything had changed for her, and it scared her. She was no longer the simple girl she was, she had wanted revenge for the death of her parents but that just seemed to go away. But right now she didn't know what was to happen to her, she was War now and she caused nothing but pain. She thought life was hard as it was, but right now it had been more simple then right now. She was alone and had no one, she felt like a freak. And right now she could use a friend.
She was in Virgina trying to figure out what to do with herself, as long as she was alive she would cause harm. And the longer she stayed War the more she would grow into enjoying her role, and that scared her a lot as well. Looking around she just looked up at the sky and sighed sadly, closing her eyes she felt a tear falling down her cheek. Something she hadn't shed in many years, and right now she just didn't know what to do. Being lost was a feeling that scared the shit out of her, and right now she didn't know what to think.

Sudden outbreaks of fighting and chaos weren't as normal as people thought. Sure, sometimes humans just flipped out, and tapped into a very primitive part of themselves, hunting down other humans for no obvious reason. The majority of the time, as Sam knew, it had to do with some supernatural act. So when things started to stir up in Virgina, Sam was on it. Maybe he wasn't quite a hunter anymore, but he still knew the signs, knew how to follow the tracks, and possessed more power than anyone else could dream up.
Teleporting was still a bit new, the feeling of your body being ripped from it's current location and instantly transported to the next. Here Sam stood, from Georgia to Virgina in the time it takes to blink. Invisible to all that walked by him, Sam looked around, taking in the 'sights'. Sam's new powers allowed him the ability to see anything for what it truly was. Angels had their wings through his eyes, demons couldn't hide, and neither could his 'companions'. Walking the sidewalk, Sam sought her out, it wasn't hard. She was so obvious, stood out so clearly to Death.
"I'm pretty sure we aren't supposed to be in the same place together, but I had to see if my thought was right about the sudden outbreak of fighting." Holding up his hand as he neared the girl, the sunlight caught Sam's ring and reflected off the metal. "I'm Sam."
It didn't seem to matter that he had been a hunter for his entire life, everything was different now. He couldn't go back home, step into Bobby's living room and pretend like things were the same. He was Death, and his family would be hunting him eventually. Finding the other horsemen was all Sam could think to do, for the moment.

The outbreak was terrible she tried like hell to stop it, but she couldn't. If she tried to stop it, it just got much worse. But she just gave up no matter where she went, she knew she needed a place where no one was, and figured out that she just needed to be away from everyone. She took a deep breath and sighed a little bit, Eden was miserable all she wanted was to be the witch she use to be. But she sensed a great power that was among her just all of a sudden. And it was powerful sensation.
But then a man looked at her and then introduced himself but then she saw the ring. She took his hand in hers and when she took his hand a vision hit her rather hard. The name had sounded familiar and now it appeared they were both in the same boat now. Letting his hand go she didn't know what to say to the man. But wondered if he was there to kill her, perhaps it was for the better. She was ready for death if he was there for her, her grey eyes looked into his and smiled weakly.
"I'm Eden and I know I have tried to stop the fighting, but all I seem to do is make it worse. Are...you here to kill me?" She said not wanting to sound rather ignorant but she needed to know what he was doing there but figured that he would tell her. All she had to do is be patient as much as she could be.

The girl seemed sweet, too sweet to be wrapped up this twisted reality. Sam was used to it, he didn't feel much remorse anymore, though now with Death's powers, he suddenly felt like he was a brand new hunter, killing for the first time. It was eerie, and Sam was only just beginning to understand what fate had in store for him now. Grateful to be out of the Pit and away from the angelic brothers, Sam could only hope that Dean was enjoying a normal life somewhere.
Shaking his head, Sam put his hands in his pockets, still unsure of his new powers. She could touch him of course, the horsemen were immortal...to a point. Sam had to assume that if God would one day be reaped by Death, that the horsemen might have their own time as well. Either way, it wasn't today. "No, don't worry. You're immortal now, it's not quite so easy to kill you. Besides, you're needed still. War is all part of the natural balance, man has been fighting from the very beginning."
Turning to watch the scene as it unfolded before them, Sam stood patiently as he watched the others attack one another. It was an odd sight, the unprovoked attacks, though not one that Sam had never seen before. "You're the one with the power over their emotions and hallucinations, figure out how to calm them down."

Eden listened to what he said and looked at him, she thought he was crazy that he said that. No one needed war there was enough problems, and sighed a bit. Thinking how one day she was a healer, she could always see angels and there true forms without her eyes burning out of her head. She saw the fighting and wanted it more then anything to stop. Maybe he was right, she needed to stop feeling sorry for herself and to control herself and her powers. Taking a deep breath she looked down at her ring and wanted to just throw it away.
But knew she couldn't do that, she now had a responsibly rather she wanted it or not she had to do it. Sticking her hands in her own pockets as she looked at Sam she wondered how he got out of the pit, she was assuming he was in hell because when she touched him she saw things that were over powering her senses at the moment. Thinking for a second she began to wonder if she should ask him about it, since she knew it wasn't her business. But how else would you get to know him.
"I didn't ask for this, I was a normal witch one of a kind. I use to heal people from most of the pain in this world. I was able to see angels for there true selves without my eyes burning out of my skull. I felt like I was special, now I am cursed to be a horsemen for god sakes. I have been trying for three months to control my powers, even my witches powers have become corrupt. I don't know how to control anything" She said looking at Sammy like he had all the answers which she was sure he didn't of course.

There may have been a point in Sam's life that he thought Death was emotionless, without the capacity to empathize with anyone. However, Sam knew better now. Though he had never met his predecessor, Dean had spoken fairly highly of him. As highly as Dean could speak of the supernatural of course. A civilized man, Death willingly gave up his ring to get rid of Lucifer. Unlike the others, Death still retained his powers without the ring, a thought that lingered at the back of Sam's mind.
This wasn't the time to contemplate his own powers at the moment, not unless he wanted to be using them very quickly. "With or without you, War is a part of life and must be present. If you die, another will take your place. Possibly one that is more vengeful, more corrupt. I met War before you took the ring, and he was not a likeable guy. Are you willing to risk another like him taking the place if you won't control your own power? It's only a matter of time before a good hunter comes after you, if you don't get this under control."
The words weren't the nicest, but Sam wasn't in the mood for sugar-coating anything today. He was usually the softer brother, the one who sympathized with others. Not today, not when it was War he was dealing with. Crossing his arms over his chest, Sam merely kept his gaze on the conflict at hand. "If you don't find a way to stop it, you'll force me to take them. They will die if it continues."

Hearing what Sam said she thought for a second and could hearing the yelling and it was getting on her nerves. Listing to all the fighting, but then something happened. A child was walking in the distance and saw someone coming up to the little girl. And saw the man raising a gun to the little girl and she coward. Everything in her froze her anger could be seen in her eyes. Only thing keeping her going was her own heart beat, and when the shot rang out of the gun she raised her hand and the bullet was a few inches from the girls face.
She wanted the man dead but she had to stop what she was doing to people, she dropped her hand and the bullet dropped onto the ground. And could see the man trying it again, she looked at Sam for a moment as if wanting his help. Though she knew she had to do it, her grey eyes showed anger mixed with sadness. Closing her eyes she had to search inside herself to unleash her powers. She wouldn't be like the man before her she would have compassion. When she opened up her eyes she spoke.
"Enough!"
Her voice echoed all over the place as the fighting stopped and almost like they had been under a spell they began to stop fighting and to go off and live there lives. She didn't know what got into her but something just seemed to open up in her. Looking down for a second she sighed a bit "I never took the ring of War Sam, it just appeared on my hand. But I will not let a evil anyone take my place, perhaps the world needs war at times but not every day" She thought about what could have been with the child.

Sam was by no means an expert at playing a horseman, but as he watched Eden, he felt like he was watching a hunter take their first kill. Scared, unsure, and very nervous. This couldn't have been what God had in mind when things got all rearranged, and yet, here they were. Sam could only wonder what the other two horsemen were doing to learn their new powers.
"I don't think you need to shout, I'm pretty sure you have telepathy." At least, that was what Sam remembered from his last throw down with War, when they cut the ring off. However, her method seemed to work, for now. That also meant that Sam didn't need to be stepping in and taking people before their time.
"Don't worry about the girl, it wasn't her time, she dies when she's 72." The information just came to him, as though he had known it forever. In fact, every person Sam looked at, he could tell their future. If they lived or died, if they procreated, how they would die. The realization of just how far his powers reached was beginning to sink it, slowly.
Finally Sam turned his gaze back to Eden, sighing. He didn't have the answers, he was still trying to make sense of his own situation. Dead one minute, alive and killing the next. "I don't think any of us asked for this, but you probably didn't help yourself either. Playing with witchcraft, things go wrong, they always do. And me, I was dead, so I suppose it's fitting that I come back as Death."

She saw what she had done and smiled a bit at the work she put into it, but then she heard what Sam said and had to laugh a bit. Placing her hands on her hips and looked at him she eyed him not in a bad way or anything. With the knowledge she knew she shook her head a bit. Thinking of what to say to him first, since she wasn't upset she just let her anger die since she found it more funny then anything. Turning her head she thought about her parents for a moment, and she lost them years ago.
"Being a witch was more of a birth right Sam, I was born with my powers. I hunted demons down much like you and your brother, but you have been around the supernatural you and Dean and your father and mother. I know exactly who you are, what you have done. So are you saying you asked for it to? We are what we are Sam Winchester. Witches have been in my family off and on for years, I do not regret what I did. I saved lives, helped the sick. And id do it again in a heart beat"

"I've hunted plenty of witches older than you, nothing makes it any less dangerous. If you had never started, I'm sure that you wouldn't be standing here right now, wearing that ring. The fact is, you did get into it all, and you are here with that ring. So now you need to accept your new fate and make the best of it, whatever that may mean to a being of war. I've been chosen for a lot of roles in my life, the one thing I've always learned, you have to play the role you're assigned. No matter what, it will catch up to you."
From his own experience, Sam could recall all the twists and turns in his life. Starting from infancy, than to Jessica, then the demon blood and Lucifer. Right now, he was Death, and he could run from the problem, but it would only mess things up. People would spend their lives suffering, wishing for a death and an end to the pain that never came. Sam couldn't have that on his conscious.
"That's not to say you can't bend the rules though. If you think you know my story, then you know I've made my own fate with the hand God deals me. You don't have to be the War that came before you. Don't forget either, War advances things, brings progress. When people are at their worst, they suddenly become determined to make things better than before."

She knew more then she wanted to about people, and about Sam. Thinking about what he said she looked up to the sky. Wondering if she did ask for it and didn't know it, but what she had seen. She wasn't just going to sit around and do nothing, that wasn't the kind of person she was. Right now everything was just to hard and she was alone. But perhaps there is a part in this she had to play. She could do some good, running her fingers over the ring she got a feeling of rage and power from the one who wore this ring.
It was then she realized that Sam was right, dropping her hand before she had wanted to just throw the ring out. But if someone power hungry got into it. Then she knew it was her responsibility then. Right now she had control over this area at least till she left. Her grey eyes seeing the calm and it brought a smile to her face. Running her fingers in her black hair she took a deep breath and let it out silently. Right now she just didn't know what to do with herself, perhaps find a balance.
"Sometimes age is just an illusion Sam, for I know as much as a sixty year old would know. We both were forced to grow up fast, always on the move. Wondering if your parents are coming home. You have been through so much, lost so much yet you take the fate you are handed without really complaining about it. And I respect that, perhaps I did ask for this. But I regret nothing I have done, and even if I knew then what I knew now. I would have still become a witch. For I cannot watch people suffer"

Sam shook his head slowly, she didn't exactly understand. Eden may have thought she had the answers, but she didn't. "I'm talking hundreds of years old Eden. Gods even, who thought they were safe because of their power. Bending fate and changing things is always dangerous, it's a domino effect." Sam could hardly recall how many times he or Dean had been brought back from the dead now, and it was starting to get harder and harder as time went on. When you brought one soul back, someone else had to take the place, and Sam could only think of how many friends he had lost along the way. "If you save one, another has to die, you can't cheat Death."
How ironic it was now that Sam was Death, holding the world's timeline in his hands. He didn't make the timeline, but he sure controlled it now, and if he stayed in this position, Dean told him that Death would eventually reap God. That was going to be an interesting day.
"You can't save them all." There was a time when Sam had thought he could, when he was younger, but that time had passed, quickly. Having to kill demons within human forms, watching as the innocent human died, all because they got picked to be possessed. It was hard to watch.
Reaching out, Sam put a hand on Eden's shoulder and looked down at the girl. "Control your new powers, stay away from hunters. Whatever you do, don't seek out the other two horsemen. I have a feeling it would be a very bad day if all four of us met up in the same place."

She listened to his warnings and perhaps she couldn't do anything about it, fate was a bitch and had been trying to get away from it for years. But this was her fate now and didn't know what to do with it. But she looked down just wanting to throw the ring away. But also knew she couldn't do that. Hearing everything he said made sense, but what was the point of trying to control her powers. If she couldn't protect everyone. It confused the girl.
But then Eden felt his hand on her shoulder and that made her slowly look up. She wondered if she was destined to be alone, no one ever knew how life would lead, until something like this happened. Taking a slow deep breath, she turned her head. Her grey eyes looking into his brown ones, she sensed so much pain in him. Sometimes she wished she didn't know everything about certain people. She gave him a soft smile that was sweet.
"If it's a bad idea for horsemen to meet why come to me then? Let me guess you sensed death that is the only reason?" She asked not in a bitter way or anything. But trying to get a sense of the new Sam Winchester, wondering if she was in danger of him. Not that she worried about death. She would welcome it, and if god was up there she wondered what he would say.
